The weekend will culminate in the iconic Long Beach Pride Parade on Sunday, May 17, on Ocean Blvd. nnFor decades, Long Beach Pride has bolstered the LGBTQ movement through empowering themes that celebrate authenticity. Recent themes served as building blocks for this year’s message: 2024’s “Rhythm of the Rainbow” celebrated the liberating power of music, while 2025’s “The Power of Community” reinforced the strength found in unity. n nIn response to a rising climate of hate and rhetoric, “Fearless and Free” serves as a call to action for a community that has often been forced into the shadows.
