Formula DRIFT brings its 2026 season finale to Long Beach after dark. Round 8 of 8: Shoreline Showdown runs October 23-24 on an outdoor course in the lot adjacent to the Long Beach Arena, at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. This will be the first Formula DRIFT PRO Championship round in Long Beach scheduled as a standalone night event, with drivers competing under the lights.

Shoreline Showdown is Round 8 of 8, the final round of the 2026 PRO season, where the standings are finalized and the season champion is crowned. The championship standings have stayed close all year: through four rounds, the top five drivers sit within 44 points of the lead, with three rounds still to run before the field reaches the waterfront.

Formula DRIFT is North America’s professional drifting series, where judges score drivers on line, angle, and style, with proximity a factor during tandem battles. Friday is qualifying, when drivers set their individual runs and lock in seeding. Saturday is the main event, with tandem elimination running from the Top 32 through the Great 8, Final 4, and Final until an event winner is decided and the 2026 PRO Championship standings are set.
