Long Beach’s sparkling drag culture returns to the iconic Queen Mary this coming Monday with Queens on the Queen. After its sold-out inaugural voyage last year, this glittering celebration of drag culture and community will once again transform the ship into a fabulous night of glitter, sequins and drag!
On Monday, September 8, 2025, 6–9 PM, the Queen’s Salon will feature an epic and larger-than-life version of the annual event. Last year’s sold out event at the Observation Bar was a total hit; this year promises to be even better—more flair, more feathers, and more fabulousness.

Lineup is nothing short of royal. Headlined by Long Beach’s own queen Jewels Long Beach, the event will have fan faves and newcomers. Expect the likes of Drag Race All Stars’s Jasmine Masters, Emmy winner Meja Massacr, and long-time Long Beach staple Dolly Levi who led in the film The Birdcage. All will turn the ship into a vintage nautical flair and royal realness.
But Queens on the Queen is not simply an evening of shows. It’s an inclusive event for the community sponsored by Councilwoman Mary Zendejas, Hamburger Mary’s, and the Queen Mary itself. The evening is characteristic of Long Beach’s long-standing commitment to our LGBTQ+ community, joy, and the arts.

Top off the evening with the VIP Royal Package for two that includes priority seating, a meet & greet with the cast, and priority post-show speakeasy access.
“It’s not a drag show,” assures hostess Jewels. “It’s an event. We’re inviting guests to an oasis of glitz and heritage, knitted with eyelashes and love.”
Drag is not simply performance but fortitude, joy, and unabashed celebration of self. On a boat with so many tales, Queens on the Queen invites the city to have its own, prouder, and louder than it has yet.
Tickets are on sale now, and believe us, they won’t be for long. So grab your boa and outrageous attire—Long Beach’s LGBTQ cultural cornerstone is setting sail on its journey.
